Senior Material Flow Engineer, Supply Chain

Anduril Anduril · Defense · Ashville, OH · Hardware Operations : Supply Chain

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Senior Material Flow Engineer to optimize supply chain warehousing and material flow operations. This role involves collaborating with global suppliers and internal teams to ensure best-in-class quality, reliability, and speed in manufacturing and development timelines. The engineer will identify and resolve bottlenecks, own key metrics and reporting, conduct time studies, develop optimization processes, and create tools for demand accuracy using data-driven approaches.

What you'd actually do

  1. Passionately work across multiple programs from development to full rate production to scale best-in-class solutions to align with maturity of manufacturing process
  2. Proactively identify imbalances and bottlenecks caused by inventory processes, line layouts, parts shortages, staffing shortages, and other production constraints; flag constraints with the appropriate owners across Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality and drive to resolution
  3. Own the metrics, KPIs, and reporting associated with monitoring production line health and efficiency, such as cycle time, throughput rate, capacity, utilization, process non-conformities, and inventory accuracy.
  4. Time studies of current and developing processes to ensure efficiency across warehouse and operations.
  5. Develop processes to optimize workplans for highly variable demands across multiple sites.

Skills
