Senior Material Program Manager for the Next Generation Short Range Interceptor (NGSRI) portfolio at RTX, a defense company. This role focuses on leading supply chain strategy, proposal development, and execution within a matrixed cross-functional team, ensuring capture and profitability of future business. Requires experience in leading teams, managing budget/schedule/resources, and a U.S. government security clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own SC proposal, growth, and strategy development through TTP, ensuring successful capture and profitability of future NGSRI business.
  2. Collaborate with Program Leadership Team, POMs and MPMs supporting the NGSRI portfolio, ensuring effective integration into execution strategies.
  3. Execute SC proposal development, including task descriptions, BOEs, IMS and standard structure development, supplier strategies, and other strategic initiatives.
  4. Lead make/where plans, ensuring best source of supply to maintain affordability and capacity throughout the program lifecycle.
  5. Act as primary SC interface with program customers, peers, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring alignment, transparency, and high service standards.

Skills

Required

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • Experience leading teams in a matrixed organization
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • U.S. citizenship is required
