Senior Materials Planner

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Materials Planner to join their Global Supply Chain Procurement team. The role focuses on materials readiness, supply chain agility, and managing contract manufacturing partners. Responsibilities include driving the Clear-to-Build process, identifying and mitigating component risks, implementing data-driven inventory strategies, and collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders. The role requires experience in the semiconductor industry, working with contract manufacturers, data analytics, ERP systems, and PDM systems. A key aspect is leveraging AI tools to improve workflow and data analysis.

What you'd actually do

  1. Drive the Clear-to-Build (CTB) process and other global materials management processes with our CMs.
  2. Identify and mitigate component-level risks to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  3. Leverage Generative and Agentic AI to improve your workflow processes and data analysis.
  4. Implement data-driven inventory management strategies to balance flexibility with risk.
  5. Collaborate with commodity management and engineering to identify alternate sources of supply, safety stock, demand offsets and other means to stabilize supply.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years' experience within the semiconductor industry, particularly on PCBA Board components
  • 8+ years' experience working with global Contract Manufacturing partners.
  • Experience in data analytics and a strong ability to build compelling visual presentations using charts and metrics.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (including advanced techniques) and working with ERP systems like SAP.
  • Be a regular user of AI tools like Gemini and OpenAI.
  • Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) systems like Agile or Windchill, with knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) structures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

  • MBA or equivalent experience or Master's degree
  • Experience with data science and data tools like Tableau, PowerBI
  • Proficiency in Mandarin or Spanish
