Netflix is seeking a Senior Measurement Partner in Sydney, Australia, to join their Ads APAC Measurement team. This role focuses on building industry-leading research for advertisers, including Brand Lift Studies, campaign effectiveness, reach, and frequency. The partner will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, data science, and vendors to design and conduct research, analyze data, present insights, and manage measurement processes. The role requires strong media research and measurement experience, particularly in effectiveness measurements and understanding of the advertising landscape.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design and conduct research that generates insights to effectively convey the story of Netflix's Ads in the Australian market with clients and agencies, with a focus on Brand Lift Studies (BLS), campaign effectiveness, reach and frequency outcomes and campaign verification.
  2. Be a TV/Video and Digital expert. Have a deep understanding of the benefits of TV advertising and of the AU Netflix Ads Audience.
  3. Use proprietary and syndicated tools to create regular reporting for stakeholders (both internal and external) on the AU Netflix Ads audience, in comparison to competitors.
  4. Integrate measurement outputs to craft a compelling narrative, present insights independently to clients and agencies, and offer guidance on optimising their media mix.
  5. Manage the day-to-day BLS study process with third-party vendors from end to end, such as sales requests, vendor intake, survey drafting, analysis, report creation, and presentation. Working closely with Sales Account Managers.

Skills

Required

  • 6+ years experience in media research and measurement at a streaming platform, broadcaster, digital media company, media agency, research agency or client
  • Strong understanding of methodology, data, and systems from syndicated research providers (e.g. Nielsen, OzTAM, Cint, Kantar, etc.) and digital first party measurement
  • Experienced in effectiveness measurements such as, Brand Lift, Reach & Frequency, Incremental Lift, Sales Lift, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Models, Search Lift and bespoke campaign effectiveness studies. Including questionnaire scripting. Data clean room and Conversion Lift.
  • Experience in mid- and lower-funnel measurement, conversion, attribution and sales lift.
  • Strong understanding of methodology, data, and systems from syndicated research providers (e.g. GWI, WARC, etc.) as well as direct digital technology and analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate strategic insights from rigorous analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of the advertising landscape, across all media channels and methods of buying, ideally with a TV, BVOD & SVOD focus.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated with strong communication skills and expertise in managing larger-scale, complex projects.
  • Highly organised and experienced in building and following processes to make working methods more efficient.
