Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for their Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team. This role focuses on designing and integrating advanced hardware for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms, covering the full development lifecycle from concept to flight test. The engineer will develop and integrate hardware on unmanned air vehicles, own designs from concept to real-world use, apply first principles physics, lead design reviews, conduct analysis, visit vendors, define and execute test plans, build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition projects into production. The role requires 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience on air vehicles, experience integrating electrical and mechanical subsystems, CAD design skills, understanding of manufacturing methods, and a BS or higher degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering. A U.S. Secret security clearance is required.
