Senior Medical Information Lead responsible for managing a cross-therapeutic portfolio of promoted and legacy products, providing scientific and medical information to healthcare professionals and consumers, reviewing medical education materials for accuracy and compliance, and identifying/reporting adverse events and product complaints. The role involves collaboration with internal and external partners, mentorship, and process improvement initiatives.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manages cross-therapeutic portfolio of promoted and legacy products.
  2. Develop and deliver verbal and/or written communication of researched medical/scientific information to HCPs and consumers in response to unsolicited requests.
  3. Proactively develops and maintains standard local scientific responses (LSRs) and innovative assets.
  4. Collaborate with key external partners (as applicable) in the management of marketplace issues as well as to optimize unsolicited medical information delivery to customers.
  5. Collaborate with internal business partners on the review and approval of medical education materials.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences or another healthcare profession
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry, or, in a regional or hospital drug information centre, or in a healthcare setting.
  • Advanced communication (verbal, written), presentation, and project management skills.
  • Outstanding attention to accuracy and detail.

Nice to have

  • Graduate degree (MSc, MD, PhD, PharmD)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Medical Information role
  • Strong clinical or scientific background in oncology, and hematology
  • Working knowledge of relevant software programs (e.g., Microsoft Office, Copilot, Adobe, Salesforce, VeevaVault, etc.)
  • Proven ability to work independently and in cross-functional team settings
  • Solid understanding of common digital/virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams, etc.).
  • Familiarity with regulatory and healthcare compliance guidelines/policies
  • Project Management experience and/or certification
  • Bilingualism in English and French
