This role focuses on building and operating scalable software components and services for Oracle's AI Data Platform, with a specific emphasis on AI/ML features. The ideal candidate will have experience with Generative AI, Agentic, and RAG systems, along with MLOps and related infrastructure.

What you'd actually do

  1. Help drive next-generation AI capabilities, with a focus on microservices, using Oracle standard tools, technology and development practices along with leading open-source frameworks
  2. Deliver high-quality software components as part of the Data Platform product
  3. Work with technical leads to ensure new capabilities are built with right design principles
  4. Work with remote and geographically distributed teams to operate complex cloud systems including participation in on-call rotation and related operational activities
  5. Ready to learn and jump into new areas and domains

Skills

Required

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Java
  • Cloud development experience on one of the major platforms (Oracle, AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • DevOps automation and tools for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
