Datadog is seeking a Senior Mid-Market Account Executive to drive net-new customer acquisition for their observability and security platform, which is positioned for the AI era. The role involves strategic prospecting, managing complex sales cycles, and collaborating with internal teams to convey the value of Datadog's AI-powered solutions to mid-to-large size markets.

What you'd actually do

  1. Focus entirely on net-new logo acquisition; proven in and committed to self-prospecting
  2. Leverage tools such as Sales Navigator and DiscoverOrg and the established framework and methodology in place
  3. Strategically prospect into Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users
  4. Manage complex and lengthy deal cycles autonomously
  5. Collaborate seamlessly across the business including with SDRs to drive top of funnel activity, with Sales Ops, Engineering, Project Management, and more
