Senior Network Engineer to scale networks, drive standardization through automation, and explore AI/ML for operational improvements. What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborating on new data center and colocation initiatives, WAN routing optimization, and other cross-team design projects
  2. Interfacing with stakeholders to assess business needs and develop innovative network features/capabilities
  3. Leading both reactive support tasks and proactive infrastructure improvements, focusing on thorough documentation to reduce outages and enhance troubleshooting
  4. Exploring AI/ML-driven enhancements to streamline operations and continuously improve service quality
  5. Using your networking expertise to help us scale our team’s infrastructure at large while maintaining high standards for network performance and reliability

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience operating and deploying network infrastructure
  • 3+ years dedicated to ground-up network design
  • deep experience with routing and network protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM-SM)
  • troubleshooting of transport protocols (TCP/UDP)
  • operating in Linux environments
  • proficient in at least one programming language
  • automate workflows
  • produce comprehensive, scalable documentation
  • balance multiple priorities
