Senior Network Engineer III (government)

This role is for a Senior Network Engineer III supporting government clients with secure network solutions. Responsibilities include system, server, and network administration, O&M support for various IT environments and networking devices, and ensuring optimal configurations for secure operations. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 8 years of experience, and a TS/SCI or Secret clearance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Provide system/server and network administration support
  2. Provide O&M support to existing server-based solutions including, but not limited to, CITRIX, ESRI, McAfee, Microsoft Red Hat, and SolarWinds.
  3. Ensure the CDS-based and enterprise-wide networking devices and components are tested, implemented and maintained within optimal and required configurations to continue to provide the most secure operating environment possible.
  4. Responsible for variety of engineering and operational related assignments associated with deployed operational solutions backed by Cisco and SolarWinds on multi-level IT system in support of the Activities Information System.
  5. Provide O&M support - testing, validation, sustainment, upgrading and decommissioning as it relates to networking devices to include: Switches, routers, firewalls, encryption devices, copper and fiber-based connectivity.
