This role focuses on installing, configuring, and maintaining network orchestration solutions (Cisco NSO) and associated infrastructure. A key requirement is a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance and compliance with DoD 8140 IA Technical Level 2.

What you'd actually do

  1. Install, configure, and maintain Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO) solutions and associated network infrastructure components, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and service deployment issues, leveraging NSO logs and monitoring tools to perform root cause analysis.
  3. Integrate NSO with various network devices, external systems, and APIs using protocols like NETCONF, RESTCONF, and JSON-RPC.
  4. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Java, or other relevant languages to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  5. Perform regular system maintenance, including software upgrades (NED upgrades), patching, security auditing, and configuration backups for network devices.
