Senior Firmware Engineer with expertise in charger architectures, PMIC integration, and battery-powered embedded systems for consumer electronics. Role involves full product lifecycle development, from prototyping to sustaining field support, focusing on power management and charging firmware.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop power management Firmware: Design, implement, debug, and optimize firmware for battery charging systems, PMIC integration, power sequencing, and charging interfaces across multiple product categories. Ensure solutions meet safety, efficiency, and performance requirements in real-world conditions.
  2. Contribute to the Full Power Management Stack: Participate in the development and evolution of the complete power management firmware stack, including low-power state handling, battery management, charger negotiation, and system-level power transitions.
  3. Engage Across the Full Product Lifecycle: Contribute from early architecture discussions and hardware bring-up through NPI validation, manufacturing ramp, and post-launch sustaining. Support firmware releases, field issue investigations, and continuous improvements throughout the lifetime of shipped devices.
  4. Hands-On Hardware Bring-Up & Debugging: Work directly with schematics, datasheets, specifications, and lab equipment to implement and debug board-level and system-level power and charging designs.
  5. Develop Low-Level Drivers & Platform Ports: Implement and maintain device drivers for PMICs, chargers, and related subsystems. Contribute to firmware porting across MCU platforms and firmware update mechanisms to ensure safe and reliable factory and field updates.
