Senior Oncology Account Specialist responsible for promoting Pfizer's oncology product portfolio to healthcare providers, educating the healthcare community, and managing accounts to improve patient care and experience. Requires a strong understanding of Pfizer's products and resources, coupled with an insightful assessment of the account landscape.

What you'd actually do

  1. Promote broad portfolio of products; Strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products
  2. Generate demand for Pfizer products in assigned accounts
  3. Strategic account selling and management skills. Develop comprehensive territory/account/customer plans to drive achievement of desired objectives.
  4. Cultivate relationships with KOLs; build lasting relationships with top priority customers
  5. Assess needs of target physicians/accounts; Address needs with responsive approach, targeted skills, and appropriate resources

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution BA/BS Degree from an accredited institution OR an associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically and stay overnight as necessary
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
  • Minimum of 4 years of previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or minimum of 4 years of previous Oncology Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience working with key Oncology thought leaders or high influence customers in hospitals, large group practices or managed care organizations.
  • A demonstrated track record of success and accomplishment with previous Pharmaceutical Sales experience or Healthcare Professional (HCP) experience
  • Exceptional aptitude for learning and ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information to a wide range of customers
  • Demonstrated high degree of business acumen
  • Proficiency using complex digital applications and able to adapt to Pfizer’s long-range technology model in bringing relevant Pfizer information to market.
