Senior Operations & Logistics Manager - Southern Europe Rider – Airports

Uber Uber · Consumer · Athens, Greece +1 · Operations

This role is for a Senior Operations & Logistics Manager focused on Uber's airport operations in Southern Europe. It involves strategic partner management, P&L ownership, cross-functional leadership, physical experience optimization, and operational excellence. The role requires experience in operations, strategy, consulting, or business development, with a preference for mobility or travel industry knowledge. It is not directly related to AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Act as the primary lead for senior-level relationships with Airport Executives and commercial teams. You will own the partnership lifecycle—from initial deal sizing and negotiation of commercial agreements to long-term joint business planning and roadmap development.
  2. Own the end-to-end P&L for Airports and Travel Hubs in your region. You will quantify and prioritize growth opportunities through rigorous modeling, ensuring we maximize rider acquisition, throughput, and revenue generation.
  3. Serve as the regional "quarterback" for travel initiatives. You will coordinate with Product, Marketing, and Business Development to drive localized marketing campaigns, implement product rollouts, and ensure operational accountability across all internal stakeholders.
  4. Translate Uber’s digital excellence into the physical world. You will oversee pickup zone design, signage, and wayfinding strategy to ensure a frictionless transition from the terminal to the vehicle.
  5. Drive on-the-ground execution through regular site audits, billing management, and feedback loops. You will identify local pain points for riders and drivers, deploying rapid solutions and pilots (e.g., new pickup flows or in-app features) to maintain a premium brand perception.
