This role is for a Senior Partner Account Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) focused on accelerating co-sell motions with Global System Integrators (GSIs) within the Canadian Public Sector. The primary responsibility is to manage relationships with GSI partners, drive joint pipeline development, co-selling activities, and revenue growth for government, healthcare, and education customers. The role involves working at the intersection of AWS field sales, partner organizations, and customer accounts to drive new routes to market with joint offerings, including those leveraging generative AI. It requires a builder mentality, executive presence, and influencing skills within a matrixed organization.

What you'd actually do

  1. As the Partner Account Manager (PAM) in Canada Public Sector, you will work closely with AWS Account Executives, Solution Architects, Industry/Technology Subject Matter Experts (SME's), and Partner Marketing to develop and drive new AWS revenue opportunities.
  2. You will be responsible for delivering revenue growth and overall end-customer adoption for strategic initiatives.
  3. You will cultivate sales & partner relationships and execute sales campaigns with the long-term interests of AWS, your GSI partner, and ultimately the end-user customer at the forefront.
  4. You’ll advise on AWS investments, industry prioritization, and strategic initiatives based on market growth potential.
  5. You will use AWS mechanisms for achieving sales results, iterating improvements, and lead an extended team to deliver results in a space that operates like a start-up.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience
  • Experience working with systems integrators and consulting companies to achieve sales
  • Experience selling cloud solutions
  • Demonstrated track record of driving measurable revenue growth through partner co-sell motions
  • Experience developing and executing joint business plans with strategic partners
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes and compliance requirements in Canada

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of experience working at or with GSIs to drive cloud adoption
  • Proficiency in French
