What you'd actually do

  1. Build and manage relationships with executive clients and senior partner stakeholders.
  2. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client's business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  3. Shape annual joint strategies between Walmart and clients, leading cross-functional teams to drive client success.
  4. Plan and achieve annual and incremental growth goals through the presentation of Walmart advertising products/solutions that will help clients meet their marketing objectives.
  5. Conduct forward-thinking, data-driven analyses, and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and present high-impact opportunities to customers.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent professional industry experience.
  • Quota-carrying digital sales experience
  • Expertise in WMC products and/or digital media solutions, especially paid search, programmatic, and CTV
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, time management, organizational as well as presentation skills.
  • A strong ability to propose creative technologies across a landscape of diverse decision-makers and align strategies to deliver customer business outcomes.
  • A strong track record of high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management.
  • Experience in a fast-paced startup, sales, and/or online advertising environment.
  • Executive presence and experience developing content for and leading CMO-level meetings

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related area.
  • Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in brand advertising (for example, television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.
  • 5 years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.
  • 5 years’ experience managing client accounts.
  • 5 years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C-suite clients.
