This role is a Senior Partner Development Manager within Amazon Stores Agency Program, focusing on business development and partnership management to drive seller and brand referrals to Amazon's Seller Services. While the role involves using generative AI tools for workflow efficiency and recognizing AI opportunities, its core function is sales and business development, not AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. responsible for building and developing external partner relationships that drive valuable seller and brand referrals to Amazon's Seller Services organization, positively impacting selection in Amazon stores.
  2. responsible for business development efforts with external partners including agencies, marketing companies and solution providers, with the ultimate focus of driving new seller / brand referrals to our North American Seller Services sales teams, positively impacting selection in Amazon Stores.
  3. responsible for recruiting and maintaining a portfolio of agency and solution provider relationships that drive valuable seller / brand referrals to Amazon sales teams.
  4. developing and managing a pipeline of high value relationships, while executing business development strategies to secure new seller and brand referral pipelines that will exceed acquisition and output goals.
  5. cultivates and grows partner relationships (Agencies, Developers and VC Firms) influencing their propensity to evangelize the Amazon brand with prospective selling partners.

Skills

Required

  • Experience positioning and selling innovative solutions to new and existing customers and market segments
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
  • Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of B2B or enterprise sales with a focus on hunting new business experience
  • Knowledge of procurement and source to pay processes and solutions or equivalent experience
  • Experience identifying trends and needs to improve an already closed large-scale technology deal
  • 2+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
  • Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
  • Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
