This role is a Senior Partner Engineer focused on the Snowflake alliance, requiring deep technical knowledge of both Sigma and Snowflake platforms to drive joint customer success and revenue growth. Responsibilities include technical advisory, enablement, solution development, and cross-functional collaboration. While the company develops AI applications, this specific role is focused on partnership and technical GTM, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as the primary technical leader and advocate for the Sigma Computing/Snowflake strategic alliance.
  2. Cultivate and maintain robust technical relationships with key personnel at Snowflake, including Product Management, Partner Leadership, Solution Engineering, and Sales teams, to ensure strategic alignment, drive co-innovation, and facilitate joint account mapping.
  3. Proactively collaborate with Sigma's GTM teams to identify, qualify, and technically support strategic joint customer opportunities.
  4. Proactively identify and scope high-value joint product opportunities and facilitate the handoff to the Partner Architect team for deeper technical engagement and development.
  5. Act as the internal authority on the Snowflake platform, providing expert technical guidance and training to Sigma's Sales Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams on best practices for leveraging Snowflake features in conjunction with Sigma.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in a highly technical customer-facing or partner-focused role
  • Deep and current hands-on experience with the Snowflake Data Cloud
  • Strong technical background in data analytics, data warehousing, business intelligence (BI), and cloud data platforms
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial technical relationships with key stakeholders at major partner organizations
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment

Nice to have

  • Prior experience working with BI and Analytics platforms
  • experience with Sigma Computing is a plus
