This role is for a Senior Partner Manager focused on building and activating a channel partner ecosystem for Datadog's multi-cloud monitoring product. The responsibilities include recruiting and developing partners (SIs, MSPs, VARs) to drive new customer adoption and revenue, enabling partners through training and joint selling, coordinating technical and marketing aspects of launches, hosting business reviews, and generating partner-sourced sales pipeline. The role requires 7+ years of partner-facing, quota-carrying experience in cloud services or SaaS, proven sales and negotiation skills, and the ability to comprehend technical concepts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify and recruit new strategic channel partners to drive revenue growth
  2. Enable and activate existing partners through training, planning and joint selling activities
  3. Coordinate the technical and marketing aspects of integrated partnership launches
  4. Host regular business reviews with partners to drive accountability and report on success metrics
  5. Work hand-in-hand with Datadog’s regional enterprise and commercial sales organizations
  6. Generate partner-sourced net-new sales pipeline and revenue

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of partner-facing, quota-carrying business development, strategic alliances, or channel sales at a cloud services or software as a service organization
