Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Senior PCB Designer to create printed circuit board designs for their products. The role involves working with engineers, applying design standards, implementing various design types (digital, analog, RF, high-power), leading DFM guidelines, developing team processes, and managing multiple projects. Requires 5+ years of PCB layout/design experience, schematic interpretation, IPC standards knowledge, Altium Designer expertise, component library management, and strong communication skills. A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is preferred.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work directly with engineers to produce printed circuit board designs supporting all Anduril’s products
  2. Apply modern design standards and guidelines to create high-reliability, highly manufacturable assemblies
  3. Implement combinations of high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs
  4. Lead the team in establishing internal guidelines for design for manufacturing (DFM) and quality fabrication and assembly outputs
  5. Develop and refine team processes for PCB design, part creation, and library/database standards

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of professional experience in PCB Layout or Design
  • Full understanding of PCB Layout techniques to meet mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and apply best practices appropriate for each design
  • Ability to determine work priorities based on broad direction from management
  • Expertise in applying relevant IPC standards, CID, CID+ certification
  • Experience using Altium Designer CAD tools
  • Experience with developing component libraries and library management
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
  • Ability to work within our company and team culture.
