Roblox is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to join their Grow Team within the People, Places, and Systems Group. This role will partner with senior leaders to align talent strategies with business objectives, focusing on scaling ML and game engineering talent, and supporting organizational shifts in content creation. The position requires developing talent roadmaps, synthesizing workforce analytics, and providing strategic guidance on people-related topics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Establish yourself as a knowledgeable, trusted, reliable partner for the Creator leadership team
  2. Develop multi-year talent roadmaps and strategic workforce architecture that prioritizes the aggressive scaling of principal-level engineering, ML, and game development talent required for high-fidelity content and genre expansion
  3. Synthesize complex workforce analytics (attrition, engagement, productivity, etc.) into actionable insights that help leaders prioritize high-impact people initiatives over tactical fixes.
  4. Collaborate with other People and Talent teams, as well as various Centers of Excellence in the design and implementation of innovative People programs to attract, retain, and promote a diverse and inclusive workforce
  5. Provide strategic guidance on a wide range of people-related topics, including organizational design and effectiveness, talent management, strategic workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, and other key initiatives

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience as a People Business Partner or equivalent
  • proven track record of leading large-scale organizational redesigns (affecting 100+ people) in high-growth, technical environments
  • Experience to design and deliver innovative approaches in workforce planning, talent management, change management, leadership development, employee engagement, change management, culture transformation, and organizational design
  • Mastery in building trust-based partnerships with skeptical technical leaders
  • courage to challenge senior stakeholders when people practices conflict with long-term organizational health
  • The ability to flourish in a mission-driven yet volatile environment where strategic priorities pivot frequently
