This role is for a Senior People Business Partner supporting Sales and GTM teams at Grafana Labs. The primary focus is on people strategy, process design, and partnering with management to address day-to-day needs and business goals. It involves both strategic planning and tactical execution within the People function, particularly concerning talent, performance, compensation, and learning & development.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will partner directly with our GTM management and leadership teams building trusted advisor status with key stakeholders
  2. You will identify needs, gaps, and opportunities within current processes and policies as well as partner to ensure sustainable and scalable processes are created
  3. You will support the People Team by acting as the expert for your function surrounding all projects and initiatives
  4. You will support new and experienced people managers across the GTM function to ensure we build a strong and consistent approach to people management
  5. You will partner with our People Team to deliver our annual processes surrounding talent and performance, workforce management, attrition and retention, compensation analysis and learning & development initiatives

Skills

Required

  • Experience partnering with GTM management teams
  • Ability to be both a strategic partner as well as tactical support
  • Process oriented with skills in creating structure and finding creative solutions
  • Ability to handle complex and highly sensitive employee issues with confidentiality
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a high say/do ratio
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and use initiative
  • Customer service approach to the role
