Senior People Events & Culture Manager

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating spend management for over 50,000 companies. This role focuses on People Events & Culture, owning internal and recruiting events end-to-end to create memorable experiences that reflect Ramp's culture and values. The role requires strong operational skills, event planning, logistics management, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own end-to-end planning and execution for all internal employee events (e.g., all-hands, culture events, holiday celebrations), recruiting events (e.g., candidate days, hiring events, employer brand activations), and team-specific events designs to gather top talent within the community in NYC and beyond.
  2. Partner with HR, Recruiting, and leadership to define event goals, measure success, shape programming, and ensure each experience reflects Ramp's culture and values.
  3. Manage all logistics — venue sourcing, vendor management, catering, run-of-show, communications, and onsite execution.
  4. Build scalable processes, templates, and systems that improve consistency and efficiency across the events calendar.
  5. Track event performance and gather feedback to continuously improve the employee and candidate experience.

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in event management, people operations, HR, or a related function
  • Proven ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with strong attention to detail and project management skills
  • Strong communicator and cross-functional collaborator — comfortable working with executives, recruiters, and employees at all levels
  • Self-starter who can build structure in ambiguous environments and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and logistics end-to-end
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York, NY and work out of our NY HQ event space at least 2-3 evenings per week during high-season.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a high-growth tech or startup environment
  • Background spanning both internal/culture events and recruiting or employer brand events
  • Familiarity with HR or ATS tools (e.g., Ashby, Workday, Greenhouse)
