Senior People Partner, Marketing

Snowflake Snowflake · Data AI · CA-Menlo Park, United States · People

This role is for a Senior People Partner supporting the Marketing leadership organization at Snowflake, focusing on shaping people strategy, driving organizational effectiveness, and advising executive leadership. While the company emphasizes an 'agentic enterprise' and AI as a collaborator, the core function of this role is HR/People Operations, not direct AI/ML development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership: Partner directly with the CMO and senior Marketing leaders as a strategic thought partner. Provide candid, data-driven counsel on people, organizational, and leadership decisions, and confidently challenge perspectives when needed to drive the best outcomes for the business.
  2. Shape Marketing people strategy: Translate Marketing’s business priorities into an integrated people strategy, spanning org design, workforce planning, succession, performance, and leadership development. Ensure people decisions support Snowflake’s growth, innovation, and market leadership.
  3. Lead complex, high-impact initiatives: Own and drive enterprise-level initiatives such as organizational redesigns, leadership transitions, succession planning for critical roles, talent assessments, and retention strategies. Navigate ambiguity and influence outcomes without reliance on heavy process or structure.
  4. Act as a change leader: Guide Marketing leaders through periods of growth, transformation, and evolving business needs. Serve as a steady presence during change, helping leaders manage organizational complexity while maintaining performance and engagement.
  5. Coach at the most senior levels: Provide high-impact coaching to VP and SVP leaders, focused on leadership effectiveness, decision-making, team dynamics, and organizational health. Partner with Leadership Development COEs where appropriate, while maintaining ownership of executive-level coaching relationships.
