Senior Performance Creative Designer (motion Graphics)

Suno Suno · Multimodal · Los Angeles, CA · Growth

Suno is seeking a Senior Performance Creative Designer to translate brand identity into performance creative for paid social media advertising. This hybrid graphic and motion design role involves owning the creative pipeline, partnering with the performance marketing team, and using AI tools to extend creative output. The goal is to drive growth and bring the excitement of Suno to a wider audience.

What you'd actually do

  1. Translate Suno's brand identity and creative DNA into paid social creative that drives growth across paid channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  2. Own the full branded creative pipeline – concepting, producing, and iterating on static and motion assets
  3. Build and maintain a creative roadmap: what to make, what to test, what to push further, and what to move on from
  4. Partner with the performance marketing team to use data and channel feedback as creative inputs, not just outputs
  5. Use AI tools to extend creative output beyond what's manually possible – and help build the processes and guardrails that keep AI-assisted work on-brand and up to Suno's standards

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of marketing design experience, including designing assets for paid social media advertising campaigns (i.e. performance creative)
  • Portfolio of paid social work (static and motion) that demonstrates both craft and taste for great performance creative
  • Experience at a marketing/advertising agency or a high-growth B2C/DTC company
  • Hybrid graphic and motion design skills: strong static design fundamentals and real motion/animation capability – this is not a pure graphic design role
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and After Effects
  • Fluency in what makes paid social creative work: hooks, formats, platform conventions, and what drives meaningful iteration
  • Ability to internalize a brand's visual identity and push it into new formats without losing what makes it distinctive

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted creative tools (generative image, video, or copy) as part of a real production workflow
  • Background in music, entertainment, or creator-focused consumer products
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior creative contributors
