Senior Performance Marketing Manager

This role focuses on leading Search Engine Marketing (SEM) initiatives for Uber, driving customer acquisition and business growth through advanced bidding strategies, large-scale experimentation, and continuous optimization across global search platforms. The candidate will develop advanced bidding frameworks, lead rigorous testing programs, and partner with various teams to develop scalable growth solutions, leveraging AI and automation technologies to improve campaign management and operational efficiency.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own and scale SEM programs across major search platforms, driving customer acquisition and business growth.
  2. Design, execute, and analyze large-scale bidding experiments to improve efficiency, volume, and overall campaign performance.
  3. Develop advanced bidding frameworks that extend beyond platform-native automation and Smart Bidding capabilities.
  4. Serve as a subject matter expert on Target CPA (tCPA), Target ROAS (tROAS), Value-Based Bidding (VBB), and other advanced bid optimization methodologies.
  5. Lead rigorous testing programs across ad creatives, messaging, landing pages, and conversion funnels to drive incremental performance improvements.

Skills

Required

  • 7+ years of experience managing large-scale SEM programs for high-growth consumer or technology businesses.
  • Deep understanding of advanced bidding methodologies
  • Extensive experience running creative, messaging, landing page, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) testing programs at scale.
  • Demonstrated expertise in paid search strategy, campaign management, and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with experience interpreting large datasets and experimentation results.
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment.
