Senior Positive Employee Relations Manager responsible for leading and improving employee relations and leadership development programs across various operations. This role focuses on identifying and mitigating culture-related risks, fostering Chewy's values, and partnering with HR, Legal, and Operations to create scalable solutions. The manager will translate employee relations insights into practical actions, deliver leadership training, and provide feedback to leaders to drive accountability and strengthen team health.

What you'd actually do

  1. Execute and enhance positive Team Member relations programs, ensuring consistent delivery of training, tools, and resources that strengthen culture and leadership effectiveness.
  2. Identify and mitigate culture risks by analyzing trends across multiple data sources (e.g., TM feedback, ethics hotline data, engagement surveys), surfacing insights, and driving proactive solutions with cross-functional partners.
  3. Translate employee relations data into action, supporting root cause analysis and helping leaders understand and address underlying issues impacting team health and performance.
  4. Partner closely with HR, Legal, and Operations leaders to deliver practical, field-ready guidance and training that promotes fair, consistent, and values-based decision-making.
  5. Facilitate leadership training sessions for large and diverse groups, creating engaging, relevant experiences that resonate across varying audiences and leadership levels.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7-10+ years of progressive experience in employee relations, HR, or related functions
  • Demonstrated experience delivering leadership training and facilitating sessions for large groups
  • Strong ability to connect with and influence individuals at all levels
  • Proven capability to identify culture risks and translate data into actionable insights
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and standard workplace investigation practices
  • Experience using HR systems and case management tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong judgment, problem-solving ability, and business acumen
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity, managing competing priorities, and adapting to change

Nice to have
