Senior Post Silicon Validation Engineer - Lpu

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA

This role is for a Senior Post Silicon Validation Engineer at NVIDIA, focusing on the validation of complex System Level Tests (SLT) for High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) of SoCs, GPUs, and ASICs. The role involves leading design, automation, and validation efforts, partnering with various engineering teams, and optimizing test solutions for performance, power efficiency, and coverage. While the company heavily utilizes AI and its products are central to AI advancements, this specific role is in hardware validation and engineering, not directly building or researching AI models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the design, automation, and validation of System Level Tests (SLT) for HVM (High Volume Manufacturing) for complex, high power, high speed SOCs
  2. Develop and integrate test flows, scripts and automation to ensure robust SLT coverage and seamless communication between test controllers and peripherals
  3. Partner with system architecture, chip design and validation teams to define and deliver production ready SLT and HVM test solutions
  4. Drive custom SLT development to optimize system performance, power efficiency and test coverage
  5. Oversee handler selection, enablement and hardware integration – including PCB design, socket selection, and temperature control systems
