Senior Process Engineer

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Hsinchu, Taiwan

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior SoIC Assembly Engineer to lead the development and deployment of SoIC assembly tools and processes for their next-generation products. This role involves defining tool architecture, developing stable processes, ensuring quality and reliability, and collaborating with internal and external teams to scale up manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SoIC and CoWoS, strong statistical analysis skills, and a background in relevant engineering or science fields.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead SoIC assembly tool & process development for NVIDIA’s next generation SoIC products and platforms.
  2. Responsible for building & deploying high volume SoIC/CoWoS assembly tool and qualifying SoIC/CoWoS assembly line for scale up of Nvidia’s SoIC products and platforms.
  3. Responsible for defining tool architecture, tool features and functions, develop stable processes for SoIC on CoWoS platforms, define assembly flow and own assembly quality and reliability.
  4. Work closely with Fab and assembly OSATs deploy and qualify SoIC with CoWoS process across high volume manufacturing.
  5. Work closely with internal design, fabrication and packaging cross-functional teams to develop new assembly requirements, assembly flows, help with design of different test structures, share data, and lead new assembly processes.
