This role is for a Senior Product Associate in Global Security at JPMorgan Chase. The primary focus is on product development and optimization within the financial security domain, involving user research, market analysis, defining product roadmaps, and collaborating with technology teams to develop and maintain security testing platforms. The role also includes project management for technical security initiatives and supporting compliance and audit tasks. While AI tools might be used, the core function is product management and security platform development, not AI/ML model building.

What you'd actually do

  1. Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  2. Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  3. Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  4. Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  5. Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development

Skills

Required

  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication; strong presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, cross‑LOB stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Aptitude to multitask and quickly learn new software, hardware, and processes; high integrity and dependability; ability to work autonomously in ambiguous, high‑pressure environments
  • Self‑starter who seeks guidance as needed and follows through with questions. S
  • Sound decision‑making and intellectual curiosity to pursue solutions
  • 2+ years of experience in Technical Security, project management, or product management
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project (or similar tools)
  • On‑site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional after‑hours support as needed

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of physical security systems (access control, CCTV, intrusion detection) and basic IT networking/infrastructure design
  • Experience implementing physical, technical, and administrative controls
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in information security or technology controls
  • Basic proficiency with SQL or similar query languages
