We are looking for a seasoned product designer to establish and pioneer design practices at ClickHouse on a global scale. This is an exciting opportunity to join early and help us form a vision for our cornerstone product. What you will be doing:
- Helping guide the vision for ClickHouse by leading design and user experience initiatives for our core product.
- Clearly communicating designs through storyboards, wireframes, prototypes, and visual mockups.
- Working closely with UI engineers and product managers to help transform final designs into a finished product.
- Leading design feedback sessions, both with internal and external stakeholders, to validate assumptions and solutions.
- Advocating for our users by continuously measuring, iterating on, and evolving the user experience of our core products.
- Helping shape the culture and direction of the design team.
- Helping us continue to hire amazing people to grow the design team and bring diverse perspectives to our design process.
What you bring along:
- Extensive experience designing for complex software applications.
- A proven track record of driving impact through design solutions and delivering high quality products.
- Experience owning products from start to finish, working with developers and PMs.
- Excellent visual design skills and understanding of UX principles.
- A solid understanding of front end development (HTML, CSS, React/Angular).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Advanced expertise using Figma, Sketch or equivalent design software.
- Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a willingness to take the initiative on projects.

- Entrepreneurial spirit with a track record for delivering results in fast-moving environments.
- Experience effectively working remotely in a global, distributed organisation.

$118,000—$186,000 USD
Washington State - Full Salary Range
$106,200—$167,400 USD
General US Remote Salary Range
$100,000—$151,300 USD
Los Angeles, CA / Washington, DC - Salary Range
$106,200—$167,400 USD
Seattle, WA - Full Salary Range
$106,200—$167,400 USD
