Senior Product Designer, Android

Superhuman Superhuman · Consumer · Hub - Berlin · Engineering, Product, Design, and Marketing

Senior Product Designer for Android at Superhuman, focusing on designing and evolving AI-powered products like the Grammarly floating assistant and the Superhuman Go AI agent. The role involves setting the design vision, shaping user experiences for AI-native features, and establishing the design foundation for the Android platform.

What you'd actually do

  1. Set the design vision for Superhuman on Android. Define how a multi-product AI platform shows up coherently on the phone. Decide what users experience as one Superhuman, what stays distinct, and how the pieces fit together as more products move onto Android over time.
  2. Design Go on Android. Go is our proactive AI agent, the layer that turns intent into progress across reading, writing, and communication. Shape how Go feels native to Android, where the OS lets us reach further than we can elsewhere: ambient assistance, deeper system integrations, hands-free voice flows, and proactive nudges that feel earned.
  3. Evolve the Grammarly Android experience. Lead the next chapter of the floating writing assistant that brings real-time grammar, rewrites, translations, and tone help into any app on the phone. Sharpen the visual hierarchy, rebuild patterns for feature discoverability, and set the bar for an overlay app that people want to live with.
  4. Help define the future input experience. Voice input is rolling out across the company, and agentic capabilities are reshaping how people write on mobile. Design how voice, agents, and the overlay come together into one coherent experience.
  5. Establish the Android design foundation. Build the patterns, components, and onboarding framework that let Android ship faster. Decide what gets unified across platforms and what stays platform-specific.
