Senior Product Designer, Core Platform

Cresta Cresta · Vertical AI · Berlin, Germany · Product

The role is for a Senior Product Designer focused on the Core Platform at Cresta, a company that uses AI to enhance contact center operations. The designer will be responsible for horizontal frameworks and shared capabilities that all Cresta products are built upon, emphasizing systems thinking and designing reusable, scalable, and customizable platforms rather than point solutions. The role involves partnering with Product and Tech leads, driving cross-squad alignment, and ensuring an enterprise-ready experience. While the company is AI-native and uses AI tools, the core craft of this role is product design for platform capabilities, not direct AI/ML model development.

What you'd actually do

  1. You'll design frameworks instead of point solutions, and the frameworks you design should be scalable, self-servable, and customizable for both business users and developers.
  2. You'll understand how data, permissions, and services flow across products, and reflect that in clear mental models in design.
  3. You'll partner with Platform PM and Platform tech leads to help shape the strategy of the platform.
  4. You'll vibe code/vibe design in Cursor or Claude for proof-of-concept, then apply rigor and thoughtfulness to make it an enterprise-ready experience.
  5. You'll advocate for craft - raise the quality bar and help the team develop a shared eye for what great looks like.
