Senior Product Designer, Identity

Netflix Netflix · Big Tech · United States · Remote · Product Design

Senior Product Designer for Netflix's Identity team, focusing on foundational experiences for trust, access, personalization, consent, and account management across the Netflix ecosystem. The role involves designing scalable platform patterns and frameworks for authentication, security, authorization, household and account systems, consent, privacy, and consumer data collection.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the design of multiple end-to-end identity, access, and account initiatives. Deliver high-quality work that balances user needs with critical business objectives.
  2. Seek the “why” behind every product effort. Actively identify business needs and constraints, and clearly articulate the user benefits of your design decisions.
  3. Take deeply ambiguous problems involving global privacy, legal, consent, and technical constraints, and break them down into manageable, scalable user experiences and flows.
  4. Responsibly leverage existing design systems to maintain consistency, while creating new, scalable patterns when new needs arise in the Identity space.
  5. Build strong, trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders. Proactively share work in progress, invite feedback, and advocate for rigorous QA to ensure implementation upholds a high bar for quality.
