Senior Product Development Engineer - Automotive and Data Center

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA

This role focuses on developing and implementing manufacturing processes for automotive and embedded board & system products, specifically for autonomous driving. It involves identifying and improving test processes, analyzing yield limiters, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to root-cause problems and influence future ASIC designs for better testability and yield. The role requires experience in ASIC design, characterization, qualification, and statistical modeling.

What you'd actually do

  1. As part of the Operations Engineering team, you will drive our latest architecture designs to market.
  2. Identify and implement test processes to improve manufacturing efficiency for our latest Tegra/GPU/Automotive/Datacenter architectures, built in leading-edge process technology.
  3. Analyze product yield limiters, drive failures on Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) (Wafer and package level).
  4. Lead multi-functional efforts with design, foundry, quality, test and suppliers to root-cause problems and implement improvements for HVM.
  5. Influence future ASIC designs to improve test coverage and enable better product yield, test time, silicon bring-up, and releases.
