Job Description:

What you’ll do:

  • Build assortment plans with clear assessment of expected customer and business impact with appropriate sizing of revenue, cost, operational complexity, and customer value proposition.
  • Build a go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of products including campaigns, promotions, and site experience.
  • Develop assortment strategy including categorical positioning, pricing methodology, product attribute requirements, promotional tenets, distribution strategy, and awareness drivers.
  • Continuously assess existing assortment performance, identify opportunities to scale revenue and profit generation at an accelerated pace, own and drive decisions for assortment modifications, removals, and additions.
  • Responsible for achieving new-to-brand customer acquisition goals.
  • Partner with Category Management, Site Experience, IMC, and other internal teams to deliver against P&L and customer acquisition goals.
  • Partner with consumer insights team and category management teams to uncover consumer insights for development of new products, portfolio expansion or changes to existing brands and products in the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with creative and integrated planning teams through planning and execution of brand campaigns and initiatives.
  • Lead the development of key campaign brand documents and continue to adapt and execute according to business and customer needs.
  • Demonstrate consistent curiosity and high standards to continuously evaluate new opportunities and improvements across our portfolio.

What you’ll need:

  • Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field, and 6 years of experience required as a Marketing Manager, or related position/occupation.

  • Alternate Education and Experience Master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field, and 4 years of experience required as a Marketing Manager, or related position/occupation.

  • Experience must include 4 years with:

    • Managing brands or products at a top consumer product goods manufacturer or a top retailer.
  • Experience must also include:

    • Success (and failure) experiences across new product development and heavy detail involvement in the product development lifecycle across ideation, vetting, development, launch and operational improvements;
    • Creating strategic frameworks balancing data-driven and qualitative factors for decision making;
    • Building and evaluating new business cases and bringing these ideas to market;
    • Working across functions and diving into R&D, sourcing, design, marketing, supply chain and other related functional areas for managing a product portfolio;
    • Applying consumer insights into product development; and
    • Utilizing large, complex data sets to drive actionable insights.

**The **base salary range for this role: $176,467 to $205,500 per year

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
