What you'd actually do

  1. Build assortment plans with clear assessment of expected customer and business impact with appropriate sizing of revenue, cost, operational complexity, and customer value proposition.
  2. Build a go-to-market strategy for a portfolio of products including campaigns, promotions, and site experience.
  3. Develop assortment strategy including categorical positioning, pricing methodology, product attribute requirements, promotional tenets, distribution strategy, and awareness drivers.
  4. Continuously assess existing assortment performance, identify opportunities to scale revenue and profit generation at an accelerated pace, own and drive decisions for assortment modifications, removals, and additions.
  5. Responsible for achieving new-to-brand customer acquisition goals.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • 6 years of experience as a Marketing Manager, or related position/occupation
  • 4 years managing brands or products at a top consumer product goods manufacturer or a top retailer
  • Experience in new product development and product development lifecycle
  • Experience creating strategic frameworks balancing data-driven and qualitative factors for decision making
  • Experience building and evaluating new business cases
  • Experience working across functions (R&D, sourcing, design, marketing, supply chain)
  • Experience applying consumer insights into product development
  • Experience utilizing large, complex data sets to drive actionable insights

Nice to have

  • Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Economics, Engineering or related field
  • 4 years of experience as a Marketing Manager, or related position/occupation
