Senior Product Manager

Workday is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define the vision and roadmap for their Analytics Platform, focusing on Data Cloud and Prism capabilities. This role involves partnering with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver intuitive, no-code ETL experiences and drive end-to-end analytical capabilities for enterprise customers. The position requires a strong understanding of data management, data platforms, and SaaS environments, with the ability to translate customer needs into product features and act as a Product Owner for scrum teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Defining the vision and roadmap for Data Cloud and Prism's data processing capabilities, driving alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders across the organization
  2. Partnering with design, engineering, data science, and other product managers to evolve Workday's analytics platform, with a focus on delivering intuitive, no-code ETL experiences for data engineers and business analysts
  3. Diving deep into customer use cases to understand how they leverage the platform for meaningful insights, and identifying, specifying, and prioritizing features through direct input from customers, analysts, developers, and architects
  4. Acting as the Product Owner in one or more scrum teams — setting the vision, writing and prioritizing user stories, grooming the backlog, and communicating progress to stakeholders regularly
  5. Serving as the product champion externally by fostering a strong customer community and collaborating with Sales, Presales, Customer Success Management, and Product Marketing

Skills

Required

  • 5-7 years of experience as a Product Manager delivering high-impact customer outcomes in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software environments
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven ability to work effectively with members from different teams
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and experiences
  • Demonstrated ability to listen actively, understand the customer's perspective, and translate those insights into product decisions
  • Deep understanding of data management, data platforms, data warehouse & analytics platforms
  • Strong understanding of design thinking and the product development process

Nice to have

  • Strong architectural background is a plus
  • Must be able to speak the language of developer interfaces and APIs
