What you'd actually do

  1. Define and drive the roadmap for AI/ML-powered discovery experiences, aligning business goals with Nordstrom's broader digital product strategy.
  2. Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and Data Science to craft delightful experiences at the intersection of user experience, ML, and AI.
  3. Partner with UX research, analytics, and merchandising to understand shopper intent and behavior.
  4. Design, run, and read A/B tests, and use the results to drive investment decisions across your portfolio.
  5. Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements for AI/ML discovery features and improvements.

Skills

Required

  • 5-8 years of product management experience with demonstrated progression of scope and impact
  • Track record in AI/ML products leading search, recommendations, or other AI/ML-powered products ideally at scale, for consumer products (e-commerce a plus)
  • Technical fluency: strong understanding of AI/ML product development and ability to credibly partner with engineers and data scientists.
  • Strong fluency with experimentation and analytics to drive product decisions.
  • Excellence at working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing at senior levels through clear, persuasive communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity and set direction across teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
