Senior Product Manager for Okta's Authenticators team, focusing on phishing-resistant credentials like passkeys and FIDO2, as well as non-phishing-resistant options. The role involves defining product strategy, roadmaps, and requirements to meet regulatory demands, combat sophisticated attacks, and enable AI agents with secure, governable credentials. The PM will collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales, and needs to demonstrate strong analytical and decision-making skills in an enterprise SaaS environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and execute product roadmap and prioritize features for Access Management
  2. Collaborate with engineering, design and research teams to define and document user stories and use-cases to guide product development.
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify customer needs and pain points, and use this information to inform innovation, product decisions and prioritization
  4. Develop, research, and clearly communicate product strategies across different levels of stakeholders and leadership chain
  5. Define and communicate product requirements, including features, user experience, and technical specifications, to engineering teams.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of Technical Product Management experience in enterprise scale SaaS products, Identity and Access management or comparable relevant experience.
  • Experience building or product managing the feature areas for enterprise platform ecosystems/services.
  • Experience developing, socializing, and driving strategies spanning multiple parts of an organization. Track record of owning and delivering on large strategic projects - you can see the big picture, but deliver on the details.
  • Strong communication (presentation, verbal and written) and collaboration skills. You easily work with customers and colleagues across different functions and backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated business results from products, features or capabilities you have shipped.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You can produce solid action plans from often incomplete, conflicting or ambiguous inputs.
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or technical degree that allows you to rationalize and influence technical design decisions.
  • Functional leadership experience, MBA, or equivalent experience.

  • Familiarity with Identity and Access management protocols and products
  • Advanced degree in technical or business field
  • Experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services, integration considerations surfaced in the user experience in particular
  • Experience with creating requirements for security focused customers
