Senior Product Manager for Flock's aviation product portfolio, focusing on an autonomous drone platform. The role involves defining and growing the product, working at the intersection of hardware, embedded software, cloud software, operations, and regulatory environments. Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, developing strategy, managing the roadmap, and partnering with engineering and other cross-functional teams to deliver a hardened and scaled product.

What you'd actually do

  1. Build deep understanding of aviation customers, workflows, and user personas, including pilots, dispatchers, patrol teams, and other operators within the DFR ecosystem
  2. Translate regulatory, market, and competitive dynamics into product strategy and roadmap priorities, including developments across FAA, FCC, and more
  3. Partner closely with Engineering to run technical projects end-to-end and make informed tradeoff decisions across hardware, embedded software, connectivity, and cloud systems
  4. Own roadmap sequencing and prioritization for aviation product investments across near-term execution and longer-term product vision
  5. Work cross-functionally with Design, Operations, Customer Success, Training, Legal, Compliance, and GTM to ensure the product evolves in ways that support customer outcomes and operational realities

Skills

Required

  • Proven product management experience in complex, technical environments where hardware, software, and operational systems intersect
  • Strong ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-moving spaces and convert incomplete information into clear strategy
  • Demonstrated success partnering deeply with engineering teams on technical tradeoffs, execution, and roadmap planning
  • Ability to learn and navigate domain-specific regulatory constraints and use them effectively in shaping product direction
  • Strong customer instinct and market judgment, with the ability to connect user needs to product strategy and execution
  • Comfort working across a wide range of stakeholders, including engineering, design, operations, legal, compliance, GTM, and leadership
