Senior Product Manager, Creator Services

Roblox Roblox · Consumer · San Mateo, CA · Product Management

Senior Product Manager for Roblox's Creator Services team, focusing on building a cloud platform that empowers creators with foundational services for building 3D immersive experiences. The role involves driving the vision and roadmap for Roblox's Open Cloud API, enabling internal teams and third-party developers to extend the platform, including leveraging the API for AI agentic building. Responsibilities include defining product specifications, managing development from ideation to launch, and establishing product indicators and metrics.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead a strategy and roadmap for Roblox’s Open Cloud API that enables developers and 3rd parties to extend Roblox in new and interesting ways using our foundational services, including leveraging this API to enable AI agentic building.
  2. Building out a Roblox Cloud that both internal product teams and community creators can rely on to make next generation games and immersive experiences.
  3. Taking the initiative to be transparent with creators about our service quality SLAs, building confidence in their durability.
  4. Identifying the right levels of abstraction to truly hit developer needs - often a raw infrastructure product alone is less valuable than with an accompanying higher level API
  5. Gain understanding of user needs and industry trends through research, practical experience and deep engagement with top creators on Robox
