Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of internal developer platforms, specifically source control systems, for hardware and software development at NVIDIA. The role focuses on ensuring flexibility, clarity, and alignment across diverse developer workflows, optimizing performance, reliability, and scalability.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for source control systems supporting large-scale chip and software development ensuring performance, reliability and scalability
  2. Partner closely with internal engineering teams to integrate source control seamlessly into day to day development and optimize developer workflows
  3. Own the evolution of repository architecture, access controls, and the structuring of code to support complex programs and distributed teams
  4. Lead cross-functional alignment across internal teams to ensure cohesive and scalable source control solutions across the development ecosystem
  5. Establish metrics and indicators and use data to inform prioritization and measure impact

Skills

Required

  • B.S. (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science or a related technical field
  • 12+ years of product management experience, including ownership of developer platforms, infrastructure, or internal tools
  • Solid understanding of source control systems (Git, Perforce) and code collaboration workflows such as branching strategies, code reviews, and large-scale merges
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with highly technical engineering teams and driving products from concept through delivery
  • Proven track record to define product strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and deliver measurable improvements in developer productivity or system performance
  • Experience working with large-scale codebases or repositories, including challenges related to performance, collaboration, and code organization
  • Analytical approach, including defining success measures, tracking adoption, and finding opportunities to improve workflow efficiency
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority across multiple teams
  • Experience working in environments with geo-distributed teams and complex collaboration requirements
  • Track record of driving adoption of internal platforms and influencing engineering culture (code health, review practices, versioning standards)

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting hardware or silicon development environments and understanding of pre-silicon development workflows
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale source control systems such as Perforce in large, distributed engineering organizations
  • Experience with repository architecture decisions, large binary/artifact management, and access control models
