Senior Product Manager, Observability & Monitoring

Product Manager for Fivetran's Monitoring and Observability product area, focusing on enterprise customers. What you'd actually do

  1. Own and evolve the Monitoring & Observability product area: logging, alerting, sync status, latency monitoring, event standardization, and external integrations.
  2. Develop a strategic roadmap that improves transparency into Fivetran connection behavior, with a focus on supporting Enterprise-grade monitoring requirements.
  3. Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver intuitive experiences for customers to monitor, debug, and optimize their data syncs—and integrate seamlessly with their existing observability stack.
  4. Prioritize product investments based on revenue-weighted feature usage, customer feedback, support ticket trends, and roadmap alignment with adjacent platform teams.
  5. Serve as the subject matter expert for observability across Fivetran and champion platform consistency in user experience and technical implementation.

Skills

Required

  • Product management experience in B2B SaaS or platform products.
  • Demonstrated success leading technical products with high customer expectations for reliability and observability.
  • Strong technical fluency—comfortable working with logs, events, monitoring pipelines, and API-based integrations.
  • Proven collaboration skills across Engineering, Design, Support, and GTM.
  • Data-informed mindset with experience using both qualitative and quantitative inputs to drive prioritization.
  • Ability to execute cross-functionally in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience with observability or monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Splunk, New Relic).
  • Familiarity with enterprise logging pipelines or SIEM integrations.
  • Background in data integration, ETL/ELT, or developer platforms.
