Senior Product Manager, Privileged Access Management

Okta Okta · Enterprise · Bellevue, WA · Product Management-810

Senior Product Manager for Okta's Privileged Access Management (PAM) product, focusing on securing AI and critical infrastructure. The role involves defining product strategy, roadmap, and requirements, collaborating with engineering and other teams, and tracking industry trends. While the company mentions AI as a context for its security mission, the core product and role are focused on traditional enterprise security (PAM), not direct AI/ML development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders including the go-to-market team to distill feature asks, gather feedback, validate use cases, and ensure product-market fit.
  2. Define and own the product strategy and roadmap for PAM capabilities across a range of systems (cloud platforms, databases, DevOps tools, and legacy infrastructure).
  3. Identify, prioritize, and drive development of new features and integrations based on market needs, customer input, and technical feasibility. Define and communicate clear product requirements, including features, user experience and functional specifications, to engineering teams.
  4. Work closely with engineering and architecture teams to define connector protocols, APIs, and deployment models that align with cloud-native principles while balancing an intuitive user experience.
  5. Drive cross-functional execution with design, engineering, QA, support, and documentation teams to deliver high-quality features on time.
