Senior Product Manager, Retail Operations and Initiatives

This role is for a Senior Product Manager focused on driving profitability and regionalization initiatives within Amazon's retail business. While the role involves using and identifying opportunities for generative AI tools to enhance workflows and customer experiences, the core responsibilities are product management, strategy, and execution for retail operations, not direct AI/ML model development or research. The role aims to improve business results through data analysis, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.

What you'd actually do

  1. Be a key contributor for our regionalization and profitability improvement workstreams, partnering with cross-functional teams to drive your product vision across both initiatives.
  2. Identify business opportunities through data mining and anecdotes.
  3. Drive product creation that unlocks business value for regionalization and profitability programs, influencing and working with technology, operations, and business teams and leaders.
  4. Own and present PRFAQs and Business Requirement Documents for both regionalization and profitability improvement initiatives and gain stakeholder buy-in.
  5. Build tools and communication frameworks that enable retail teams to understand and optimize profitability program performance.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products
  • Excellent analytical skills
