This role is for a Senior Product Manager, Technical, focused on Denied Party Screening (DPS) products within AWS Compliance & Security Assurance. What you'd actually do

  1. Own the product roadmap - use Amazon's Working Backwards process to identify customer pain points, define requirements, and prioritize delivery
  2. Drive domain innovation - monitor trends in sanctions/AML screening, denied party list management, fuzzy matching algorithms, and AI/ML-based detection to inform product strategy
  3. Partner cross-functionally - work with engineering, legal, compliance, and operations teams to design and deliver scalable screening products that meet both technical and regulatory requirements
  4. Manage execution - track progress, communicate to stakeholders, mitigate risks, and maintain quality
  5. Build feedback loops - analyze user data and operational metrics to continuously improve detection accuracy and user experience

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
