Senior Product Marketing Manager, Competitive Insights

Weights & Biases Weights & Biases · Data AI · Bellevue, WA +4 · Marketing

This role is for a Senior Product Marketing Manager focused on competitive intelligence within the AI cloud infrastructure space. The individual will build and manage a competitive function, influencing product positioning and go-to-market strategies by analyzing competitor movements and producing actionable insights, battlecards, and POVs. While the company operates in the AI space and uses AI tools, the core craft of this role is product marketing and competitive analysis, not direct AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own competitive tiering and focus—define priority coverage and maintain a watchlist so teams stay aligned on what to track and what actions to take.
  2. Produce quarterly competitive POVs for Product and GTM (what changed, why it matters, what we do).
  3. Build Tier-1 battlecards and objection handling for priority competitors and active deal friction.
  4. Maintain a regular competitive update cadence for stakeholders (short, decision-oriented, actionable).
  5. Provide inputs to messaging, launches, and campaigns, including claim risk checks and differentiation guidance.
