Senior Product Marketing Manager for Twilio's data products, including Twilio Segment CDP. This role focuses on translating complex technical data concepts into human-centric narratives, driving market understanding, and influencing product strategy and roadmap. The position requires deep customer and market research to craft impactful messaging and positioning, leading cross-functional product launches, and championing customer needs.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop compelling, audience-specific messaging, positioning, and content that differentiates all of Twilio’s data products in the market.
  2. Build a deep understanding of our customers and user personas through research and direct engagement, and use that insight to shape our go-to-market strategy, use cases, and product roadmap.
  3. Lead cross-functional product launches, working across Marketing, Product, Sales Enablement, GTM, and Support teams to drive awareness, demand, and usage of data products.
  4. Champion our customers while influencing product development and ensuring alignment with customer needs through the Twilio Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).
  5. Translate technical product features (e.g., pipelines, data warehouse interoperability, identity resolution, governance, APIs, etc.) into differentiated narratives, customer outcomes, and value-driven proof points.

Skills

Required

  • 5+ years experience in product marketing or technical marketing
  • Experience in product marketing in the customer data, data warehouse, or customer experience technology space
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex, technical product features into simple, value-driven stories
  • Ability to turn data into a story and a story into a presentation
  • Ability to clearly articulate complex concepts
  • Get under the hood mindset with the ability to understand data architectures, APIs, and CDP workflows
  • Strategic thinker with ability to build deep domain expertise through primary and secondary research
  • Ability to apply research to develop positioning, thought leadership, and marketing campaigns
  • Ability to enable and educate internal audiences
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to work on impactful projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
