What you'd actually do

  1. Drive and support the go-to-market strategy for Okta's solutions in the Public Sector.
  2. Develop clear, compelling, and differentiated messaging and positioning for the Public Sector audience.
  3. Create a variety of content, including presentations, datasheets, whitepapers, blog posts, and website copy, to support demand generation and sales enablement.
  4. Develop and deliver training and tools to enable our sales team to effectively sell to the Public Sector.
  5. Be an expert on the Public Sector market, including customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in enterprise software, SaaS, or cybersecurity.
  • Deep understanding of the Public Sector market, including procurement processes, compliance requirements (e.g., FedRAMP, DoD), and key government initiatives.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies.
  • Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling narratives.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and work effectively across teams.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
