Senior Product Procurement Engineer role focused on managing the sourcing of parts for new product introduction, continuous improvement, and new source introduction. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, managing source decisions, driving organizational alignment through data management (spend, supplier performance), conducting Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE). Requires strong analytical, communication, and strategic sourcing skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead Hydraulics ELITE CPPD Team (ECT) meetings under guidance of ECT owner to ensure alignment across disciplines for source decisions. Manage source change approval requirements for ECT, Enterprise Component Strategy (ECS), Earthmoving source council, and trade.
  2. Drive organizational alignment through data management including procurement spend and savings PowerBI, monthly supplier performance metrics, buyer responsibility, ECT project trackers
  3. Complete Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis with inputs from buyers and engineers following current Business Resources guidance
  4. Driving Value Analysis and Value Engineering (VAVE) through cost modeling, design for manufacturability, and leveraging suppliers’ capabilities.
  5. Data analysis to identify cost and performance opportunities.
